Beyeihi’—”my home”—is a culturally focused, strengths-based home visiting program for expectant Native American families and those with children age 5 or younger. 

The program is available at no cost to patients who are eligible to receive services at our clinic!

About the Program

Following the Family Spirit curriculum, the Beyeihi’ home visiting program supports participating families from pregnancy through age 5.

Through visits with a Family Spirit home educator from Wind River Family and Community Health Care, caregivers gain knowledge and skills to promote healthy development and positive lifestyles for themselves and their children.

Each visit—which can take place at a family’s home, or in a clinic setting—includes customized education, resources and support to match the family’s needs.

Services Provided

In addition to visits, the program provides:

• Car seats

• Family activities

• Group events

• Infant and child first aid / CPR training

• Interactive lessons

• Prenatal and breastfeeding support group / class

• Referrals, as needed, to additional community resources
