Pediatrics

Wind River Family and Community Health Center offers holistic pediatric care that is based on trust and building relationships with all family members.  A pediatric provider has completed training that is specific to child development and childhood-specific illnesses.  Our pediatric providers are all either pediatricians (doctors) or pediatric nurse practitioners that have extra certification in pediatric care.  Our team delivers the highest standards of care for newborns, breastfeeding, routine well child checks, immunizations, acute and chronic illness management, and behavioral concerns. 

Within our clinic and at the hospital we partner with our doctors who take care of pregnant patients to make sure we do everything we can to support the health of your baby and the safety of your birth plan.  We partner with parents and family members to make sure we are answering your questions and supporting your child’s health to the best of our ability.  If your child needs to see a pediatric specialist out of state, we will help coordinate that care and help you manage your child’s care plan once you are home.  You can find us at each of the clinics (Ethete, Arapaho, and Riverton) and we work closely together so that your child’s care is consistent regardless of which clinic you visit.
